For the big wedding in Mallorca
Yesterday, Sunday, Son Amar was open to the public to come and have a look at their beautiful property. I told my parent about that we were going and they commented with "Oh, we have been there maaany times for barbecues where they roasted a whole pig!" Lucky times are changing... Haha.
Son Amar is apparently, according to their own website, one of the oldest estates in Mallorca! And their theather holds 4000 spectators. That's amazing. I really want to go and see their liveshow some day. It was truly an impressive place.
The Rose Garden was set for a wedding dinner with beautiful decoration, and their White garden was set for a ceremony. I'm happy to have seen it all for when I get requests about advice on wedding venues in Mallorca by couples looking to get married here.
It's a big place! So my initial thought was that it's great for bigger weddings. But I'm sure a smaller one could be really cosy and genuine as well since they have many different areas around the property to set up for dinners and celebrations.
I really want to try their restaurant as well but we did not do it yesterday. But we saw that they have vegan options on the menu which looked really good. we also missed the vegan paella they had yesterday served with sangria for 2.50€! But I had one or two glasses of cava 1€ each... hehe.
Anyways, we had a lovely day visiting the beautiful estate and I'm looking forward to the day when I get to shoot a real wedding in Son Amar.
